Picture

Sony decided to focus on the brightness and image quality. If you compare the picture quality – both the Sony XBR75X940E and Sony XBR75X850F have an excellent picture. I was stunned by the contrast and black level. There are no complaints about the picture, especially smoothing of movements is especially pleasing. The 4k picture is clear and the HDR colors are incredible.

Features and Performances

Both models are supported by the modern 4K standard. Sony is supported by HDR technology. This is a new experience of watching movies with a more detailed image in the shadow or with the effect of the sun highlighting. But, unfortunately, its HDR performance is still limited due to black level and peak brightness is not enough to fully display the contents of HDR 10. But it is still better than when it displays the contents of the SDR.

Of course, I liked the features more at the X850F. It is more modern. It boasts its new 4K X Reality PRO technology, it adds realistic colors. In the Sony XBR85X850F, there are more interesting things versus XBR60X830F such as Dynamic Contrast Enhancer. This is another good feature of Sony that gives a more vibrant image with a clear contract.

Build Quality and Design

Before turning on the TVs, the first thing I noticed was the minimalist, narrow, flat black bezel that Sony uses. Almost look like a flat sheet of glass.

HDMI and USB connectors make it possible to connect external drives and, judging by the feedback from customers, there are no problems with their reading. Sony XBR60X830F vs KD60X690E has 4 HDMI, X690E only has 3. You will not be disappointed with the purchase from Sony, trust me.

Sony XBR60X830F

Sony KD60X690E
