I definitely like that the flat Samsung 65NU8000 has no red dots, no blurred edges of an object, and no distorted motion. Another Samsung model also has the same advantages, but among them, the device proposes a curved screen with juicy colors and great viewing angles. The 65NU8000 is supplemented by the solid local dimming, deep blacks, and the contrast stands out. The 65NU7300 doesn’t have a local dimming at all, so the picture is a little bit worse.

Features & Performance

The Samsung 65NU8000 vs 65NU7300 verification surprises me with the distinctions. The second model doesn’t have Bluetooth, in contrast to the first model. The sound is mediocre on both devices, but the 65NU8000 has louder speakers, especially when I compare their loudness with 65NU7300’s. I truly enjoy the FreeSync/VRR support due to the 65NU8000. It’s a huge plus for gamers with AMD cards or an Xbox One. The 65NU7300 works slower while the gaming process, but it’s great for watching the TV, HBO, Hulu, and other streaming services.

Design & Build quality

The main visual difference between Samsung 65NU7300 and 65NU8000 is the basis (legs versus stand). The flat TV has thin borders (0.35") when the curved screen is much thicker (0.59"). It is hard to mount the 65NU7300 on the wall due to its back panel shape. The 65NU8000 doesn’t have such problems at all. Both devices have amazing build quality.

Samsung 65NU7300 Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • The device doesn’t lose screen visibility even when I sit off to the side.
  • The TV is supplemented by the analog audio output that is great for late evening listening to the music.

Cons:

  • It only sets up for 2.4 Wi-Fi.
  • The TV exits out of the apps on its own at random moments in time.

Samsung 65NU8000 Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • The device indulges me with Bluetooth audio streaming that works great.
  • It has 4 HDMI plugs, which are enough for everyday usage.

Cons:

  • There is no instruction about the remote controller’s work. I have to figure everything out by myself or google it.
  • The colors are a little over saturated in the default factory settings.
