You can control the entire system of TX-NR585 in several ways. In addition to the usual remote control, you can install the Onkyo Controller or Onkyo Music Control app on your iOS or Android device. In addition, voice control using Google Assistant is available through Android phones, iPhone, Google Home, and other compatible devices. And it steps you through the system as well as checking your equipment connections. you can always go back and rerun the setup at any time. I spent more time connecting wires and cleaning up all the cables versus setting up the system.
