Features & Performance

Even badly recorded music on Debut Carbon sounds great. The player is already equipped with an Ortofon 2M Red * pickup, which provides full and dynamic sound for all records. If compare it with Marantz TT-15S1, I can say that they both can play any musical genres.

The second one has even too bright upper range in dynamic records on modern records. Marantz versus Debut Carbon is well voiced by rock, which in previous years demanded from the equalizer to boost high frequencies, and now it is served fresh and vigorously.

Marantz TT-15S1 vs Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC reacts to the classical works more than anxiously, and in its interpretation, jazz and vocal solos give goosebumps all over the body from pleasure. Marantz TT-15S1 is a product that is advanced in all respects. The turntable looks beautiful, easy to use and has a crystal clear and delicate sound.

Design & build quality

We live in an age when high-tech things begin to look simply. Pro-Ject Debut Carbon is very modern in its external simplicity and for this reason, it will never go out of fashion. Pro-Ject Debut Carbon is ready for use almost immediately after unpacking. The pickup is already set to the tonearm and adjusted as necessary. Pro-Ject Debut Carbon will be a great addition and decoration for any interior.

Marantz TT-15S1 design is characterized by accuracy, light colors, and completeness of lines. A rather powerful chassis made of GS-acrylic rests on three massive conical aluminum cylinders, which are adjustable vertically.

The 3-cm acrylic disc is mounted on a shaft with a ceramic bearing, which does quiet and free rotation and extends the life of the turntable. Very good option if you do not pursue sound quality, but just want to listen to your collection of records.
