Features & Performance

Both models are THX-certified. They also support 4K at 60 Hz. HDR10 and Dolby vision guarantee great video quality with vivid colors. These receivers have components that let you access various internet services (RZ830 also supports the Chromecast technology). Everything can be controlled via an Onkyo application. Both models support powered zone 2 and 3 playing different content in separate zones. Design

The distance between buttons is enough to avoid pressing a wrong button. The remote controller is enough to control the receiver, but some customers claim that the remote controller is quite small and you may press a button accidentally. The shipping size of Onkyo TX-RZ830 is 15.7x17.2x8 versus Onkyo TX-RZ820 15.6x17.1x7.9. The weight is the same – 31 pounds.
