AV receivers Onkyo has Phono input for connecting turntable players. And compatibility with Hi-Res files allows you to use the application to search for albums with a resolution of 192/24 and 96/24 (including 5.6 MHz DSD) on your computer or NAS drive, and play them with unprecedented clarity, depth, and detail.
If we compare Onkyo TX-NR656 vs Onkyo TX-NR676, then we see that both models have many features in common. The advantage of TX-NR656 is that it has many enhancement technologies, while its main disadvantage is buggy software (however, it may be fixed by firmware updating).
Another important difference is the number of HDMI ports – 8 inputs Onkyo TX-NR656 vs TX-NR676 that has 7 inputs only. Therefore, if you need a device with many HDMI ports then TX-NR656 is for you, but if you need a slightly more powerful device that can play all popular formats then consider buying Onkyo TX-NR676.
