Sony STRDN1080 is the pioneer among Sony’s AVs that supports Dolby Atmos. Now the sound is from above the visual fields via some extra speakers. The device also supports DTS:X format that is compatible with the all newest formats.

Sony STR-ZA810ES does not support Dolby Atmos that requires sacrificing the rear speakers for the ceiling ones. However, it demonstrates a great sound converting due to the implementation of the latest improved converter tech.
