Samsung HW-J355 review: flat panel with surround sound
It is a high-quality soundbar with a good set of features that will surely appeal to those who would like to improve the sound quality of the TV. I had a chance to test this soundbar and compare Samsung HW-J355 specs with some other products of the same price range. This soundbar worked pretty well! The volume of the sound was quite adequate to the size of the bar.
Actually a lot of sound from a small bar. I would have expected a lower sound volume, but this soundbar actually gave a slightly higher volume than expected. I rarely need to include more than half to get good sound quality. I recommend the purchase of this model to those who like me to watch movies in the evening and sometimes listen to music channels. Those who are not ready to put bulky acoustics in all corners and pull wires to them.
Design
The build quality of the Samsung HW-J355 raises no questions. The soundbar was well packed and looked great right out of the box. It feels sturdy, with a good design and a modern look. I really like that it comes with several cords which can be connected to a TV or other device, regardless of age or function.
It is the perfect complement to the TV set of different sizes. It looks neat and compact in appearance. I liked the design of this soundbar: it does not look catchy, but it is modern and, by the way, very high quality.
Features
Samsung HW-J355 is significantly louder than TV speakers and has some added depth (low and high frequencies). After connecting the soundbar, the first thing that pleases the ear is the appearance of low-frequencies. Dynamic scenes in films immediately come to life and you get incomparably more pleasure from watching! The sound is still flat, but in general, definitely better than those built into the TV.
In addition to HDMI and Wi-Fi, the HW-MS650 is equipped with a digital optical input, USB and analog input. The soundbar can be connected to a Samsung TV and via Wi-Fi, for example, if the TV is used as a switching center for an AV system. I tried this feature and evaluated the wireless connection as not very stable, and besides, limited in settings. In general, the use of an HDMI cable to connect a soundbar to a TV is the most simple and reliable.
Everything that was needed to install this soundbar was included. The installation was quick and it took me less than 30 minutes to install it on my wall and connect it to the TV. He worked without problems with my TV, and I had no problems getting sound.
