Looking for a receiver that will suit your needs perfectly have a look at Harman Kardon HK 3700 review, as it has all the necessary information about the pros and cons of this unit. Good looking, powerful HK 3700 worth seeing and listening to. With such a productivity that integrates into this receiver, the thorough audiophiles even will be satisfied.
The AVR 3700 uses digital-switching Class D amplifiers to provide its power. Since Class D amplifiers operate more efficiently than A/B designs, they don’t need the large power transformers and supply capacitors needed for traditional amp topologies.
Striking Harman Kardon design leverages quality materials in a 2-channel, 170-watt stereo receiver with ultra-low distortion High-resolution DAC, featuring a 24-bit/192kHz sampling rate Complete connectivity including a phono input, FM/AM radio, home network DLNA, iOS Direct with built-in DAC (digital-to-analog converter).
It has ample power to drive most speakers, even most floor speakers, and at .07% THD the power itself is quite clean. It's not ultra clean, but it's clean. And it's certainly more than clean enough for anyone who isn't a hardcore audiophile. If you are only going to use analog inputs or the limited digital capability it has, this is a pretty nice AMP, probably good for the money.
The equalizer works in the digital domain where it doesn’t hurt anything. It works for you no matter whether you are using the analog or the digital outputs on your computer. This type of equalizer is free – it comes with the software for your sound chip. There are a couple other ALC audio chips that are even better! Your software will also have an L-R balance control which the HK doesn’t have. Phase linearity is definitely the signature H/K. As for volume, this unit gets plenty loud.
The USB input works with Apple i-devices, and with thumb drives which are a FAT32 file system. The USB won’t work with any Windows computer because Windows uses the NTFS file system.
The network connection is by an RJ45 port (cat5 cable) that is DLNA compatible, which, if you don’t already know what that is, better read the section in the manual (download from HK web site) about it.
Unfortunately, there are no digital optical or digital coax inputs, which are the easiest to use and most widely used for digital audio, just plug in the cable and go.
Very light and easy to install. Works perfectly except when trying to connect an android cell phone to the USB port. It's worth noting you are more or less going to operate this unit purely from the remote, and it's not the most intuitive control scheme, but as time goes on you’ll gain some decent dexterity.
All in all, I really like this stereo receiver. It's very attractive looking, and although it has shortcomings, they're relatively minor, Harman Kardon HK 3700 specs mean much more. And at its current price point, it's definitely worth considering. There's a lot about this stereo receiver to like, and I am quite confident you'll be pleased with it.

Harman Kardon has a wide variety of interesting and attractively priced AV receivers, which are ideal for a home theater of more moderate proportions. Here you can find Harman Kardon AVR 1510S review with a detailed description of all the best features and specifics of the receiver.
Sleek and black. However, the face of it is not exactly as thin as the photo shows, but it's still has a minimalist design. Adding to the minimalist effect is that you can turn all the lights off in the front of the receiver while it's still on and functioning. The set-up allows you to view the menu on the receiver when doing things such as changing radio stations, adjusting the volume, switching from one HDMI input to another, etc. Then the lights shut off (except the power light), but everything is still functioning. If you are going for the "less is more" type of look in your home theater design, this one will fit right in, or you can choose to leave the lights on.
The vTuner function works flawlessly; radio stations from all over the globe. At 75 wpc, it's got more than enough power for my set-up, which is in a medium sized living room. With 5 discreet amps inside, the separation for the surround channels is handled well. You can hear this in the audio detail. The Harman Kardon AVR 1510S specs can kick some distortion free fanny when turned up to full blast range. There are so many different adjustments you can make to the sound, that you are bound to find a setting best suited for you.
Powers itself off, so you don't waste energy. Lightweight and no fans whirring in the background while you watch your movies. Heat? No issue there so far. It does get somewhat warm, but not enough to cause concern. There is extensive ventilation on the top and sides of the receiver, so as long as you don't cover them up, it shouldn't be an issue.
For serious audiophile the sound quality of this AV receiver is fantastic. The HK certainly delivers in sound quality. In two channel mode, music is full and rich sounding. You will be surprised at such performance considering the low price and small physical size.
Plenty of wattages to drive big speakers, excellent sound reproduction, and a stylish look (for receivers, anyway) are the strong points of this great little amp. Negatives are the lack of workable pass-through (you will need to turn on the amp to watch your TV unless you devise a workaround involving another Monitor input), lack of bells and whistles such as an extra set of output terminals, and not as much ability to adjust the sound as slightly more expensive amps. If you don't need extra features, this is a smart buy!
Setup never seems to go smoothly for me and manuals are often more confusing than helpful to the middle-aged like myself and this was no exception.
The inexpensive AVR 1510 from Harman Kardon is well equipped, looks great and makes everything sound right. Thanks to its compact size it is perfect for the living room and will bring you a big pleasure while using the receiver.
