The main difference in Klipsch R-10SW vs R-112SW characteristics is that R-112SW is 600 watts while R-10 SW is 300 watts. The woofers are also different in diameter, R-112SW is 12 inch versus R-10 SW is 10 inch. Although both are made by Klipsch and are of excellent quality and definitely deliver on the promise. Additionally, both of these woofers have a low pass crossover and phase control technology meaning they can be aligned with all Klipsch products to deliver the perfect amount of bass.

Design

Both are beautiful cerametalic woofers enclosed in minimalistic matte black polymer veneer boxes. You cannot compare these two woofer brothers are equally classy and tasteful.

Klipsch R-112SW pros & cons

Pros:

  • It is wireless meaning you can put it anywhere in your house. The wireless subwoofer kit comes as a part of the package.
  • The front shooting slot port allows for an extra deep and clean sound. The side vibrations are minimal.
  • The internal engineering geometry prevents all vibrations or hum. The sound is incredibly rich and clean. Your friends will be amazed.

Cons:

  • The woofer is very pricey and it is not a family option. It is about $500 brand new.
  • There were some customer reports about the woofer shutting down randomly. The issues start in about a year.

Klipsch R-10SW pros & cons

Pros:

  • The line and LFE inputs are available so it is compatible with your home theatre even if it is of some older version.
  • It is all digital. That means that the music is very original and close to the source.
  • This woofer is really affordable, around $300.

Cons:

  • This woofer might be a bit too boring if you want some cool features and technologies.
  • There were some reports about blown and burned fuses that were only good for a few months after the purchase.
