Having tested and compared Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A1080 vs Yamaha RX-A1050, I would like to share my experience to help other people choose the right model.
Both models support the 7.2 channel setup, and they both have premium-level DACs installed. These receivers support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Still, if we compare Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A1080 vs RX-A1050 in terms of the total output power, we get RX-A1080 with 770 W versus RX-A1050 with 780 W – the difference is very small. RX-A1050 uses compressed music enhanced technology to restore compressed music. Both receivers support many audio and video formats.

Both solutions support multi-zone technology. You can control the playback using the remote controllers or the buttons on the receivers.

It is a very precise technology (the manufacturer provides you with the microphone required). You can fine-tune the settings using a special application – it is not difficult since the application is user-friendly.
