I hooked up the unit to my Dolby Atmos-enabled Samsung speakers and got the fantastic surround sound effect. Sound Quality

Connectivity

I didn't experience any issues when connecting the receiver to Bluetooth. However, Wi-Fi may randomly disconnect for no reason. The Yamaha RX-A760 also has six HDMI inputs, a phono input for a vinyl record player, etc. The wired connection to the home network can be performed using commercially-available STP network cable (CAT-5 or higher straight cable).

The receiver also offers an HDMI ARC functionality that can be manually enabled/disabled.

Setup
