Drawing the comparison for LG 43UJ6300 vs Samsung 43NU7100, it must be noted that they both represent the new generation of the LCD TVs and belong to the same price segment of the “middle range”.
The series to compare are the latest NU7100, notable for the sharp contrast and the lowest command delay and UJ6300 that boasts the vast viewing area and the perfect picture quality from any viewpoint.
Samsung 43NU100 impressed me with the deep black and perfect contrast even in my fairly light living room. The colors are bursting and the large display area allows seeing the picture well from any angle (though the front view is the best position). I enjoyed the professional Edge Led technology that provided for the uniform light and brightness of the picture, at the same time letting the device being that thin. LG 43UJ6300 provides an amazing feeling of motion. By disabling the auto motion mode, I received a seamless dynamic picture. The colors seemed a bit washed out in the full light, though the Direct Led provided a perfect contrast in the dark.
Connected to Xbox 1S, Samsung 43NU100 delivered a fantastic experience of the real HDR-powered picture and fast response to the input commands. The LG 43UJ6300 was a fraction slower. Thanks to the friendly and intuitive UI, I enjoyed the built-in Internet apps right out-of-the-box, while with Samsung 43NU100, it required some tweaking before getting the desired setting. The Bluetooth connection in LG 43UJ6300 allowed matching my headphones and enjoying the DTS-enabled sound while watching the epic movies with Samsung 43NU100 definitely requires additional sound devices.
Samsung 43NU100 is thinner yet heavier while featuring the larger display area. LG 43UJ6300 has a thin display frame. The legs of the Samsung 43NU100 seem a bit flippant, while the LG 43UJ6300 is more sturdy. The remotes are quite simple and unintuitive for both models.
