Pros & Cons

Onkyo TX-RZ820

VS

Pros

    • It is convenient to download a digital version and control it via my tablet. Moreover, music selection and playback are built into the app.
    • I am not an avid FM listener, but I was amazed. Despite stations were distant away, the reception was flawless.
    • Also, I connected it to Apple TV without problems to watch a couple of shots.
    • Network audio player pleasantly surprised me.
    • Good quality of the output audio – due to various enhancement technologies (plus it

Cons

    • he Onkyo privacy bothered me. It constantly popped up. ‘Not to Accept’ option didn’t help. It appeared every time when I switched a channel.
    • Slightly confusing interface. It was not clear what to choose because my speakers are directly connected to the receiver and I’m not used to it.
    • Some customers have issues with Samsung Bluray players (no video output).
    • Issues with the HDMI signal (it cuts out with 4K sources).
