Pros & Cons

Onkyo TX-8220 2 Home Audio

VS

Pros

    • The optical audio port is only good for 45W per channel, but that is great because with the device’s help I can get the volume I need.
    • The output sound is excellent – the sound is deep, crisp and natural.
    • The Bluetooth module performs extremely well – the connection is very stable.
    • Bluetooth performs its work with very low effects of compression.

Cons

    • I can’t connect the receiver to the TV via the digital output. I have to buy a special device to transcode the signal.
    • It becomes very hot shortly after starting work.

Onkyo TX-8260

VS

Pros

    • I find the Onkyo remote control application very convenient because it allows you to configure Tidal and Deezer in the application.
    • It sounds very accurate and well balanced throughout the range from lows to highs.

Cons

    • The sound was good, but the internet connection and Bluetooth were never so good, very buggy.
