Fix: Quiz or Recommended Products Page Not Loading / Redirecting Incorrectly

If your Recommended Products or Dedicated Landing Page shows a blank screen, or redirects you to the wrong page, follow these quick steps to fix it.
By adjusting your page template and verifying a few settings in your theme editor, you can resolve this issue in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Navigate to Theme Customization

Go to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify dashboard. Click the Customize button for your active theme.

Click on the Templates menu in the header. Navigate to Pages.

Step 2: Create a New Page Template

Click on the Create template link.

Name your template (e.g., quiz-page) and set it as ‘Based on’ your Default page template.

Step 3: Desing Your Quiz Template Page (Don’t Hide the “Page” Block!)

After creating the new template (quiz-page), Shopify will take you inside the Theme Editor for that template.
Here you can design the page layout as you like — add backgrounds, spacing, or extra sections.

⚠️ make sure you don’t hide or remove the block named “Page” in the left sidebar. That’s the container where your Quiz and Recommended Products will load.

Step 4: Assign the Template to a Page

Go to Online Store > Pages. Click select you quiz existing page & Recommended Products page to edit.

In the Template section on the right, choose your new template (e.g., quiz-page) from the Theme template dropdown. Click on the Save button to ensure all changes are saved before exiting the theme editor.

Step 5: View your quiz page

Check the page by pressing the View button. complete your quiz, and see if the results page loads correctly.
